Да, если заменять '_' на ASCII код, то все работает нормально.
Т.е. и коммент проходит: ru_politics,
и коммьюнити можно почитать, но только через links 'http://community.livejournal.com/ru%5Fpolitics' - firefox "выпрямляет" таки url.
